North Bay Word Play is a pediatric speech-language therapy practice in Napa.

Services support a wide range of speech-language needs, from mild to severe. At North Bay Word Play, we believe in neurodiversity-affirming therapy that celebrates each child’s unique way of communicating and learning. The practice also offers support for children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems such as Proloquo2Go and LAMP.

Therapy at North Bay Word Play is engaging, evidence-based, and guided by a whole-child approach that values collaboration with families to support meaningful progress across home and community settings.

Meet Eleni

Eleni Wilske, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from University of the Pacific and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. With over 10 years of experience, Eleni provides individualized, play-based therapy to help children build confident and functional communication skills.

She has experience with children ages 2–18, addressing a broad range of communication needs including speech or articulation disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, apraxia of speech, receptive/expressive language disorders, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities. Her therapeutic approach is child-centered, collaborative, and designed to foster independence, connection, and confidence. Committed to lifelong growth as a practice, Eleni is currently completing the Gestalt Language Processing course by Meaningful Speech to further support children who communicate in diverse ways.

After more than a decade working in public schools, Eleni founded North Bay Word Play to offer personalized, high-quality services to families in the North Bay. Raised in Sonoma County and now living in Napa, she is proud to serve the community she calls home.

Outside of work, Eleni enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, ages 5 and 7. Together, they love camping, hiking, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Northern California.
